Why do you come to the TRX Training Center?

I come to TRX because it’s an all over workout and I feel I get so much from the workout itself—I am stronger for sure since I started.
I also find it to be a very welcoming environment—all the people who work there are kind, helpful, and it is a very non-judgmental place. Even the members are helpful and quite friendly—I have always felt comfortable—I love that there is every level, shape, and size of the person going to the classes.

How long have you been coming to the TRX Training Center?

I actually started coming when the center first opened, what—6 or so years ago? I think I even took the first class Medwin taught in the second-floor classroom! I got waylaid in my fitness by injuries and laziness—but my physical therapist actually recommended TRX and so I have been back for about 2 years now.

What is your favorite class and why?

I like the Fit and the Strong classes—they go by so quickly! TRX never gets easy and that’s why I keep coming back for more. I do prefer the classes that are fast paced and have a lot of strap work.

What are your fitness goals?

It used to be to get thin. But that has evolved a lot as I have gotten older—now it is for strength and health for life. I want to be that 80-year old that still hikes and enjoys a cold beer!

What motivates you to come and train?

This is a tough one—I can’t count on motivation as much as I can habit and routine—so, I schedule my classes a week ahead of time and I just go. Once there—the place and the workout itself is its own motivation. For the early morning classes, I also have friends I have met along the way, and added check and balance to make sure I keep my appointment with fitness. You also have great trainers (I call them Physical Terrorists), so that is a big part of coming as well. I know it is always time and money well spent.
